Institute of Business Leaders myHR was founded to address the real need for HR within today’s organisations. The “do it yourself” approach can prove to be extremely costly when wading through the minefield of employment issues, awards, industrial agreements and employee performance.

myHR aims to be a complete HR solution to small and medium size businesses wanting to prepare their people for the challenges organisations face as they develop and grow.

Owned and managed by Jenni Carr, who is an experienced HR professional with over 20 years of business expertise gained both internationally and nationally.

Our membership service has been carefully tailored and designed to meet the individual needs of our members.

myHR is an extension of your business for valued HR advice. Offering practical tips, strategy, planning, and staffing solutions.  Our aim is to educate employers on how to motivate and get the best out of their employees and avoid making mistakes that may prove costly.

Respect

myHR respects all our business contacts whether clients or candidates. People should be treated as individuals. Therefore we are committed to ensuring we follow up on all contact we receive within a reasonable time period.

Professional Responsibility

We will never send out a candidate’s details to a third party without first obtaining written permission. This is also a requirement under the Federal Data Privacy Act.  We will only undertake reference checks with the candidate’s consent. We also advise our clients that they are prohibited from undertaking reference checks without the candidate’s consent.

Induction

All of our staff undertake our induction program. This equips them with the knowledge of our company regarding our policies, processes, systems, service level agreements, terms of business etc.

Safety

myHR is aware of the requirements for Health & Safety in the Workplace. We implement this in our own business as well as ensuring our client’s are aware of their obligations under the Act.

Confidentiality

It is paramount in our business to maintain complete confidentiality when dealing with our client’s and candidates. Individuals can trust that all information confided with us is kept in strict confidence unless made public in the public domain.
